Michael is a highly experienced Chartered Accountant based in Sydney, providing a broad range of services including taxation, accounting, superannuation, and strategic business advisory. He also advises clients on complex structural and estate planning matters. Michael’s diverse expertise spans multiple industries, notably foreign-owned enterprises (both large and small), information technology/software, wholesale and retail trade, hospitality, and professional services—including the medical and legal sectors.

With a foundation in corporate and personal insolvency, Michael brings a deep understanding of business resilience and financial management. His early work in insolvency shaped his appreciation for the critical importance of strategic planning, budgeting, and effective cash flow control. It was through supporting businesses on their turnaround journeys that Michael discovered his passion for advisory services—preferring to guide businesses toward sustainability and growth, rather than stepping in at a crisis point.

Michael is also a committed contributor to the accounting profession. He has previously served in a voluntary capacity on the NSW Young Chartered Accountants Advisory Panel and held leadership roles as Treasurer and Director of Walker Wayland Australasia Limited. Currently, he serves as Chair of the Asia Pacific International Tax Committee for BKR International—a global association of 139 independent professional firms operating in 77 countries.
