Wali Aziz joined the firm in January 2013 as a senior manager in the audit and assurance division and was promoted to the role of Principal in December 2015.
Wali is a registered company auditor, a registered greenhouse and energy auditor and a registered self-managed superannuation fund auditor. He is also a registered tax agent to maintain his knowledge of all taxation compliance areas.
Through a 15-year career which includes experience with large Chartered Accounting firms including Ernst & Young, and Grant Thornton, Wali has obtained expertise providing audit and consultancy services, including due diligence and business reviews, to small / medium sized fast growth business’.
Additionally Wali is able to advise fast growth business’ on the ASX listing process. This experience has been provided to many companies including junior explorers, retailers, medical health companies, information technology companies, financial services and professional services firms.
Wali also heads up the firms Superannuation Audit Division and was one of the prime movers in the creation of the Walker Wayland Outsource Superannuation Fund Audit process which utilises the services of our BKR member firm in Manila.
