Yates Baker McLean, based in Orange in central NSW, was the first regional firm to join the Walker Wayland Australasia network.

An important part of the restructure was completed today with the launch of a new Walker Wayland Australasia Web site, said Grant Allsopp.
The site is focussed on new membership opportunities.
He said Walker Wayland Australasia now offers a range of membership options to reflect the differing needs of accounting firms across the region.
“Some members adopt the full Walker Wayland branding while others need to maintain their own branding identity,” he said.
“We have also introduced categories specifically for firms in regional areas and for specialist boutique firms.
“Being a part of the Walker Wayland Australasia network will lift firms’ profile through increased marketing and access to a broad base of shared resources,” he said.
“Member firms are also encouraged to participate in annual conferences during which staff develop their technical skills within a team environment.”
He said the member firms of Walker Wayland Australasia are uniquely equipped to deliver a range of services that are relevant to Australian, New Zealand and trans-Tasman business.
He said that the group’s business structure offers clients the benefits of two worlds.
