This bill is currently before the Senate, subject to the passage of legislation, the Amnesty will be available from 24 May 2018 to 23 May 2019.
This would be a great opportunity for employers were short paying Super Guarantee in the past years and worrying about getting potential ATO audit of the SG. But bear in mind this amnesty only covers Super Guarantee and it wouldn’t cover other state-based taxes such like payroll tax.
