“This new service will save our clients both time and money.

“Ethically, accountants may not draw up legal documents. The documents are fully sanctioned by Law Central.”

Mr Allsopp said that Law Central is the leading provider in Australia of online services that enable clients to build personalised Australian legal documents. The business is a division of Integrated Legal Holdings Limited (an ASX Listed Company).

Law Central will launch in New Zealand within the next 12 months. New Zealand members of WWA will be the “launch” customers for the business in that country as well as being asked for input into the suite of New Zealand jurisdiction documents.

The marketing manager of Law Central, Mario Surjan, said: “Law Central uses interview technology that asks questions and provides helpful legal hints. Answers are used to customise and produce a document to suit specific client needs.

“Every Law Central legal document is written and maintained by a lawyer and signed-off by the authoring law firm.”

Law Central was established in 2000 as one of the first automated legal document providers in Australia. In 2007 Law Central became a subsidiary of Australian Stock Exchange and Top 40 law firm Integrated Legal Holding.

Law Central also provides legal tools to help clients learn more about the law through fortnightly bulletins, a bulletin library and an online Legal Tutor.

Mr Surjan said Law Central users build documents for themselves and for their clients.

He said that Law Central is a preferred supplier among several professional industries including accountants and financial planners. It is now one of the largest suppliers of Australian legal documents online with more than 65,000 registered users.

Under the arrangement with Walker Wayland Australasia, member firms will be directly involved in providing feedback to Law Central for the development of new online documents.

Mr Allsopp said this new agreement is another example of the way that the network is constantly seeking improvement to member benefits.
